Last week I had a request from Kim to do a Fashion Friday for sister’s, so I took up the challenge. I do admit it was more of a challenge! Fun challenge though!
And I’ve decided to spice of Fashion Friday’s a little. Notice the $100 print credit up for grabs! If a certain outfit really grabs my attention, I am going to put the red $100 print credit in front of it. How does it work? Show up to your session wearing the outfit - or your kid if it is a child’s outfit obviously
- and you get a $100 print credit on anything you order after your minimum!
The outfit today is from Gap. You qualify for $100 print credit if your child shows up wearing the dress - you can accessorize it however you wish (meaning you don’t need the cardigan/jeans/shoes). This credit expires on September 15, 2009.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing this cutie. He came out of the car holding a couple rocks to throw in the river and that is what we spent a good portion of the session doing, along with climbing on rocks and digging sand with a tractor…so much fun! Thanks, M, for allowing me to photograph him…I will have your full gallery to you soon!

Saturday, June 27th, was the “official” Great American Backyard Campout night. I thought Teagun would probably enjoy this, so I got Trevor on board and he volunteered to sleep in the tent with him (Emery and I slept in our own beds since Emery does not sleep all that well even when she is in her own bed). Teagun LOVED it to say the least. He was so so excited…just kept dancing around the yard as the tent was being set up and then would just go in the tent and lay in his sleeping bag even though it wasn’t even close to bedtime. Trevor said he just jabbered non-stop telling stories and watching for shooting stars until around 11:30pm. We just may have to make this a yearly tradition and maybe next year Emery and I will join in.
Barbecuing hamburgers

Yeah, they were roughing it with the blowup mattress…lol.

Enjoying the campfire and roasting marshmallows

Smores (which he didn’t even like - crazy kid!)

5 years ago we were in beautiful Maui Hawaii getting ready for our wedding. It was the most beautiful day and the week was full of memories neither of us will forget hanging out with our family and friends. So much fun! And best of all, I married my best friend. Happy Anniversary, Trevor! Here’s to many, many more (and hopefully another trip to Maui somewhere in there!!!)

Wow, I don’t know why I am having such a hard time with this…it shouldn’t be this hard to get in front of the camera once a week, but I am finding it very challenging and I’m not even halfway done yet…now I remember why I was didn’t complete this last year!!! I am going to try very hard though! These (and probably 99% of the pictures from My Kids and I) are just taken with my p&s camera.
Week 24 - taken by Teagun
