1. Happy (late) Thanksgiving! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.
2. Black Friday shopping – anyone enjoy it as much as me? I truly enjoy it. I didn’t really have anything to buy this year and I still went out at 5am. I think we (my sister-in-law and I) went to four stores before evening buying one thing because we would get up front and not want to wait in the lines. Then I ended up standing in line at Target to buy two things that weren’t even on sale. lol…
I did get a couple good deals though. I was exhausted by the end of the day. I kept thinking to myself that I couldn’t believe I did this last year 9 months pregnant. All that walking last year paid off though!
3. Countdown to Mexico has begun…ok, it started a while ago, but now it is super close. I checked the weather the other day. Sunday and 85…can’t wait!
4. Emery took her first steps by herself on Sunday. We were all in the bedroom, so we all got to see it. She was so proud of herself. I was so worried that she was going to do it while we were on vacation and we would miss it. Now I don’t feel as guilty for leaving them behind.
My husband is going to kill me for posting this. He thinks I post only ridiculous photos of him on here all the time. I love it though. I’m sure this is what every parent looks like, cheering their child on.
5. Tis’ the season. Teagun is really into Christmas this year. It is so much fun. Emery likes pulling all the ornaments off the tree though. We have moved them all up out of her reach, so she goes and stands and tugs on the branches.
6. Conversation with Teagun this evening.
Him: whining and crying about something.
Me: “Oh, I think it will all be ok…”
Him: “No, mom, I’m not going to live.”

7. I went and saw Twilight this weekend. If you’ve read the book, did you enjoy the movie? I loved it. Yeah, some of the characters were definitely not how I pictured, but I’m sure that is always the case with a movie. My mom is reading the book right now and I’ve already told her I want to go see the movie again when she goes.
8. We took the kids to visit Santa this weekend. Teagun was ok this year, but didn’t want to sit on his lap. He would only go up next to him to talk to him. Emery did not like him at all. This surprised me. I figured she’d just hang out and look at him like, “who the heck is this guy?”
9. I got my holiday cards all addressed and ready to be mailed. I think this is the first time I’ve gotten them done this far in advance. Now I feel like it is too early to send them out though…
10. And in honor of my walking toddler – a picture of her first (or maybe second) day of life. They grow up way too fast, don’t they?
