Cost is $20 per person and they have over 100 silent auction items/packages and 19 live auction items, a dessert dash, and each class did a project which is up for auction as well.

Celebrate Goodtimes – American Cancer Society
Saturday, May 15th
7:00 – 10:00 pm
Northern Quest Resort and Casino Hotel in the Kalispel Ballroom

A fun event to help raise funds for Camp Goodtimes, which is a week long camp for children with cancer. Cost is $35 in advance and $40 at the door. On sale at American Cancer Society (920 N Washington #200) and at Northern Quest. There will be wine tasting, silent and live auctions, as well as artisian vendor booths to browse through. 1. Last Day to enter THE NURSERY CONTEST is on Sunday. I am hoping people are just waiting until last minute because I know there are some cool nurseries out there in Spokane! Don’t miss out on your chance to win a free mini-session!!! Enter today!

2. I am starting to book well into spring, so if you are thinking of scheduling for spring (or even summer) contact me soon. I have changed my schedule a bit this year and there are only a limited number of sessions each month.

3. Along those lines, I am working on putting together a spring mini-session promotion. So if you are wanting pictures, but not necessarily a full session, keep an eye out! Feel free to email me to put you on the waiting list and I will email out details to you first so you have first chance to book before opening it up publicly as space will be limited.

4. I’m totally slacking on Mine on Monday posts (though I don’t think I have missed a week yet…just have been late the last couple of weeks) . Last weekend, we had a great time hanging out as a family. On Friday we took the kids to Monster Jam. This was Teagun’s third time, but Emery’s first. She was still a bit young and didn’t have the attention span for the whole time, but overall, it was a success.

Then on Saturday we took the kids up to Mt. Spokane snow tubing. Emery could not get enough…she was not a happy camper when our session ended. It was such a gorgeous day too. Loved seeing the sun for a few days last weekend!

5. Daylight Savings is 2 weeks away – 2 weeks! Yes, I am beyond excited and counting down the days…I love my daylight!

Ok, I am adding one more because I had this typed up with my five already and then my friend, Amy, who you may remember did the Bigger Really is Better post a couple months ago just posted another great post that I think is worth sharing! Sooo…

Is your baby under 24 months old?
Do you have a super cool nursery?
Would you be interested in winning a free mini-session and mini-print package?

If you answered yes to all three of these questions, I would love to see pictures. What’s in it for you? A chance to win a free mini-photography session featuring your baby and your nursery! I would like to see between 1-4 photographs of your space. At least one photograph must include your child in the nursery itself. I am looking for creative use of light, color and design elements. Images must be taken by you or someone in your family (meaning “please don’t submit images taken by another professional photographer.”)

All submissions must be received by midnight, February 28, 2010.

Entries will be judged by a panel of photographers who will narrow down the selection to 5 nurseries, if needed. The finalists will be posted on participating photographer’s blogs and the winner will be chosen via a public voting poll. Voting will occur between March 7-March 13, 2010. There are specific rules around voting that will be clarified during the voting round of the contest.

Winner will be announced on March 15, 2010. Winning session must take place between March 22 – April 25. Winners must sign a release to allow participating photographers to display images on blog, website, Facebook Business Page and any other print or web materials as deemed appropriate.

This is our contest, we make the rules. We have researched many different ways of voting and there are pros and cons and hanging chads in just about every method out there. This is how we have decided to run our contest, if it’s not a fit for you, we respectfully accept your decision to decline participation. We also know there are ways to work around the system, so we will actively monitor IP addresses and research anything that appears to be fishy. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry that appears to be suspicious.

All participants must agree to sign a model release allowing images to be displayed on participating blogs. Winning participants must sign a release allowing images taken by participating photographers to be displayed on web site, blog, Facebook and print advertising sources. Participants must also agree to standard Terms & Conditions of participating photographers.
