Backyard Campout 2010

Saturday night was The Great American Backyard Campout night. You may remember pictures from last year when we participated in it. So I guess 2 years in a row makes it a tradition, right? The weekend ended up being just gorgeous and we pretty much spent all day outside and the kids playing in their little pool. Then we had some friends over for a BBQ, had a campfire, and then spent the night in the tent. The kid’s absolutely loved it and it was a lot of fun! Ahhhh…love summer time! Just a few snapshots from the day.

Both kids still do not like Smores. They will eat everything separate (well Teagun doesn’t like marshmallows), but together…no way! Crazy kids! (Teagun is just pretending to eat his smore here).

hmmm…think somebody is ready for bed??? It looks could kill… :)

And just a quick “HAPPY ANNIVERSARY” to my husband! Today we are celebrating 6 years of marriage! …and wishing we were in Hawaii like 6 years ago today.

I saw this shirt a couple months ago and surprised Teagun with it. They did a section on dinosaurs at preschool this year and he is just a wee-bit obsessed with them, so I knew he would love this. But, really, what 5 year old boy wouldn’t love a shirt like this??? So stinkin’ cute!

My goal this morning was to get a couple pictures of the kids together. I have approximately 40 images in my living room alone and only one image of the kids together. I’m sure anyone with a two year old understands…they like to do their own thing on their own time and it definitely isn’t going to be when mom asks, right??? So we went to the park and Emery started out wanting nothing to do with Teagun even being near her (surprise surprise), but then for some reason, she decided to make her mama happy and let Teagun near her…lol. I only got a couple, but I love them nonetheless! I will share some individuals of each of them later on!

This weekend I asked Trevor to buzz cut Teagun’s hair for summer (even though we aren’t have any summer-like weather…where are you???). Teagun asked him to give him a mohawk instead. So for all of Sunday, Teagun sported a mohawk. Today it will (for sure) be getting buzzed off! ;)

I told him he needed to look mean if he had a mohawk…lol.

Teagun’s final day of preschool was today, so I thought it would be fun to do a comparison shot of his very first day of preschool in September 08 and his final day of preschool today. He had such a chubby little baby face when he was three. :) I can’t believe he will be starting “regular” school in the fall…so crazy!

Age 5 – May 2010 (notice how much more cooperative he is – love it!)

As I mentioned in my post below, Teagun likes to give me silly faces…a lot. In the 15 or so pictures I took of him, I think I maybe (and that is a big maybe) got 4-5 nice smiles. Most look something like this though. Still wouldn’t trade him for anything!

5! {Spokane Child Photographer}

My baby turned 5 on Wednesday. FIVE! Seriously, where has the time gone? Way too fast, that is all I know! He is such an amazing little boy (he gets mad when I tell him he is my baby…he is apparently too old for that now, and no matter how much I tell him he will always be my baby, he refuses to agree) and we are so proud of him. Happy 5th Birthday, Teagun! We love you!

He looks so tall here!

And this picture just makes me smile. It is totally him – he is always giving me funny faces. Just love him!
