The area where our house is has been covered in fog for a week+ (though the sun did finally break through today and was so so nice to see!) and the fog froze to the trees and they were so pretty! I had to take Emery out for a little photo shoot yesterday using the frozen trees as a background.
Love her…she is such a trooper!
She really wanted a picture with our dog, Zoey, who was not too happy being out in the cold. 😉
Ahhh…I LOVED this session so much! The weather wasn’t all that great and we debated canceling, but it ended up being perfect (big puddles for jumping in at the end of the session = perfect and so much fun!). I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. 😉

It’s time for the forth annual Photo of the Year Contest! I can’t believe how fast this year went by…in a blink of an eye for sure! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and is off to a great start to the New Year so far!
I narrowed it down to 20 images from all the images that I took over the year…that was hard, as usual! Thank you to all my 2013 clients! I am so honored that you chose me to photo your family! I truly appreciate it!
There will be THREE winners!

(2) The 2nd place winner will receive a $100 credit to put towards a session in 2014.
(3) Leave a comment on this blog post (scroll down under the 20 images). A comment will be selected at random and the person who submitted the comment will receive a FREE Mini Session!! If you frequent my blog, I’m sure you recognize this gorgeous family and their beautiful farm! I had the pleasure of going to their home for Miss P’s one year photos earlier this fall. As always, I had such a great time and just loved so many of the photos!
My daughter turned 6 (SIX!!!!) yesterday and this weekend we had a spa party for her and her friends. It was so much fun and all the girls had a great time! Thought I’d share some pictures from the party for this month’s Chasing Moment’s post.
I got the invitation (and what I based the colors off of for the party) from Etsy seller Purpleberryink.
Everyone was greeted at the door with a smoothie and asked to put on slippers and a headband.
We had three different stations. Everyone started at the table and we did facials made of yogurt and oatmeal with cucumbers for the eyes, of course. 🙂 Then they took turns at the other two stations which were pedicures/manicures and getting their hair crimped and colored (chalk).
Whew…I survived my first ever at-home party with 8 little girls! 🙂 Really, though, it was a ton of fun to put together and host!
